If you like to relax with friends one morning a week, this group is for you.

We meet on the first, second and forth Thursday of each month at a member's home and average 10 to 15 members at each meeting. Every member is asked to host about twice a year.

Members begin drifting in at 9:30 am. The host serves refreshments. A lot of preparation is not required of the host. We are more interested in friendship than food. After refreshments, we settle down to our sewing. You can bring any project you want. Some people work on knitting, crewel, counted cross-stitch or even mending. At about 12:00 the group begins to break up. Some people go out for lunch.

Every Sunday an e-mail is sent to all of the members giving directions to the host's home for the following Thursday. That is the only time you will receive a message from me unless something important comes up. That seldom happens.

It is not necessary to have a passion for sewing to enjoy this group. You are welcome to attend without a project.
